How South Gate Truck Services collects SMS consent

South Gate Truck Services (operated by South Gate Truck Services LLC) is a secured truck and trailer parking lot at 10601 Bekay St, Dallas, TX 75238. We send SMS only to drivers who give express consent at one of the two opt-in points below. Messages are transactional — tied to a driver’s own parking — and are never marketing or promotional.

What we send

  • Verification codes— a one-time passcode to confirm the driver’s phone at the gate.
  • Parking account notices — gate/access confirmations, reservation updates, expiry reminders, payment-issue alerts, and replies from the lot manager.

Opt-in #1 — Web check-in (WEB_FORM)

A driver checking in at /checkin must tick a standalone, unchecked-by-default consent checkbox before check-in can be submitted. The exact language shown is:

“I agree to receive transactional text messages from South Gate Truck Services about my parking, including verification codes, gate/access notices, reservation updates, expiry reminders, payment issues, and manager support messages. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Opt-in #2 — Gate phone verification (MOBILE_QR_CODE)

Drivers reach the entry screen at /entry by scanning the QR code posted at the gate. Before any code is sent, the phone-entry screen shows this disclosure; tapping Continue is the consent action:

“By continuing you agree to receive a one-time verification code via SMS from South Gate Truck Services. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
