How South Gate Truck Services collects, uses, and shares your information.

1. What we collect

Full name and phone number (required to verify identity and assign a space).
Email (optional; used for receipts).
Vehicle details — license plate, unit number, nickname, and type.
A device identifier generated in your browser, stored on our servers only as a keyed hash (the raw value stays in your browser).
Phone-verification records — verification codes are stored only as a hash and expire quickly.
Payment identifiers from Stripe (we do not store your full card number).
Session, billing, and event/audit records, including gate openings and account actions.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not store your full payment card number — Stripe does.

2. Why we collect it

To verify identity, assign a space, operate the gate, process payments, prevent fraud and unauthorized access, send transactional SMS (verification, reminders, alerts), keep accounting records, and provide support.

3. Who we share it with

We share data with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

Stripe — name, phone, and email (if provided) to process payments and send receipts.
QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — name, phone, email (if provided), and payment amounts for accounting; QuickBooks may email your receipt.
Twilio — your phone number and message content to deliver SMS.
Our hosting provider — standard request and server data needed to run the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and mobile or SMS opt-in information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Each provider handles your data under its own terms.

4. Retention and your choices

We retain records as long as needed for operations, accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to access or delete personal data. 5. Security

Payment card data is handled by Stripe under its PCI program. Device identifiers and verification codes are stored only as keyed hashes. Access to administrative tools is authenticated.
